During a family break in Barcelona, we were looking around the Sagrada Familia (still unfinished but much progress has been made since I last visited, around twenty years ago), and I was intrigued by the variety of typefaces going on, woven into the fabric of the building.
One of those typefaces, is the angular script, shown on the left. It got me thinking about a monoline script and this has resulted in Kong Script.
I liked the monoline quality of the typeface at the Sagrada Familia but wanted mine to be more geometric (I seem to keep coming back to geometric), I don't think I've seen a geometric script before, so think there might be a gap in the (increasingly crowded) font market.
It's intended to be used in upper and lower case, where I think the result flows nicely and is easy on the eye. Here's hoping others agree and feel inclined to try it.
